an expressive nose of small red berry fruit, warm peppers and toasted notes. Great density and finesse in the mouth, with a finish marked by imposing but polished tannins. A wine of great presence that will pair well with duck breast or slow cooked lamb shanks. It is still early days for this wine, and its youthful ebullience will benefit from time in carafe prior to serving.
